Founded by the owners in 1998, Rosy’s at the Beach has become a Morgan Hill favorite known both for its seafood which is sourced locally from Moss Landing and its casual, friendly ambiance.
Rosy’s has daily specials every day, with Taco Tuesdays being far the most popular with its $3 salmon tacos. On the second Wednesday each month there are wine dinners which are sold out months ahead and once a month spirit tasting sessions on the 3rd Wednesday where patrons can taste the latest in specialty vodkas, bourbons, tequilas and other spirits.
Rosy and Rich Bergin, the sellers, have been in the restaurant business for nearly 40 years. They previously owned two places in downtown San Jose. In 2019 they invested in a winery and now serve some of their wines at the restaurant. They are selling the restaurant so that they can concentrate on their new business. They own the real estate of Rosy’s and are willing to give a buyer a long-term lease. Financing is possible for a qualified operator. Finding a good operator for Rosy’s is more important to them than maximizing the purchase price.
