This Tutti Frutti location is part of one of the largest frozen yogurt chains in the world with over 700 locations in twenty-eight countries. There are over 100 locations in California alone. The store was started in 2010 and the current owner bought it in 2013. After running the store for seven years, she has decided to go back to school. The store has always been profitable. During the current Covid-19 crises, the seller has been running it with one part-time employee who works on weekends. Last year she ran it with six minimum wage employees who worked a total of about 30 hours a week.
The original owner of the store negotiated an agreement with the franchise that allowed him to use its name and product without being a franchised store. There are no franchise or transfer fees and no royalties. Training will be done by the seller at the store. The lease goes to March 31, 2021 with a five-year option.
